Thanks, FiveO! My wife has totally gotten my son into the Little House books. He loves them. I'm sure he'd be interested in the TV show and $20 for nine full, re-mastered HD seasons is a hell of a deal.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

And it looks like Little House is $20 per season on iTunes. So $20 for 8 seasons isn't bad at all.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

It's 9 seasons.

Ok, $20 for eight seasons wasn't quite good enough for me, but for nine season? I'm in!

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I grew up with Little House. Haven't watched it in years. Saw it was on VUDU a few months back...and for $60 for all of the seasons I hadn't pulled the plug. I remember enjoying it...but never got around to buying it.

I was perusing VUDU on the deals and saw that it had dropped to $20 for the entire series...had to check if it was a typo.... :lol:

Either way...9 seasons of entertainment for $20....count me in. I'll chip off a few episodes here and there.

My sister was a big fan as a kid.

I liked some, and this seems like a pricing error that won't last, so I shouldn't wait too long on it...decisions...decisions.

I bought the 9 seasons of Little House for my wife. She's a big fan of the show. Couldn't pass it up at that price.

Pre-order now, so they won't be out of it when you try to get it on release day.

What? No 4K option?

I'm kidding, but I'm surprised that really isn't an option now that Vudu has that for a lot of movies.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

Disappointed I didn't see the Little House series when it was posted on 12/24. I think I had $2 credit that expired yesterday. As it was, I had $.02 in my account. :D

Just $20, but it's the most significant purchase I've made as far as streaming content. I only own the first 6 seasons on DVD. And I've watched through season 4, but my memory of season 4 was that there was some episodes that didn't play or skipped parts.

So a good value and well worth it for me to have it in HD. :up:

I want to buy Little House on the Prairie because it's such a good deal but I'd never seen an ep and since you can't stream it for free anywhere I went to YouTube and they only had snippets and I hated all of them :lol: The SO was so... don't buy it... but it's $20!! So you can buy something else for $20... but it's $20!!! For nine seasons!!! :lol:

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I've been really tempted to buy it. It's an amazing deal. But I know I'm never going to watch it.

I enjoyed the show back in the 70s/80s. There's just too much other stuff to watch.

Can anyone who purchased Little House confirm it's in HD??

(Thanks in advance!)

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

Here's a couple MGO coupon codes. They have some good sales going on right now.

get2 = $2 credit
2foryou = $2 credit
3foryou = $3 credit

MGO movies will transfer over to Vudu as long as the title is UV on both sites.

EDIT TO ADD:
These credits do not stack. That's not to knock $7.00 free site credit, but something users should know before they go in thinking they're gonna get $7.00 to take off the price of one purchase.

They're an online video store like Vudu. If you have a Roku, it's the Movie Store and TV Store on the home screen.

Many of the movies are UV compatible (the TV Shows are not UV). Look for the UV symbol. If it's UV at both MGO and Vudu, then the movie will transfer over to your Vudu library.

They are not compatible with Disney Movies Anywhere. So if you buy a Disney title, it won't transfer to your DMA account.

They also have an irritating tendency to have some movies in the right aspect ratio which Vudu doesn't, and clearly have no interest in fixing.

I just bought it as well for my wife. Plus took advantage of Alan's code. Thanks!

The mobile version of VUDU has no perceivable way to load codes like the regular site does. I think you may be able to do it via checkout.
