Is this a good, funny movie? This kinda passed me by, but, I of course, love him.

I would rank it as the fourth best Mel Brooks movie (after The Producers, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein). It's more scattershot than those but still pretty funny. If you like Mel Brooks then yeah it's absolutely worth checking out for $5

I got his little box set. Is that there? Either $5 can’t do too much harm…

Ooooh. Thanks for the heads up. I've been waiting for this to be available on Vudu and at that price I can't pass it up. I loved this movie as a kid and it still holds up.

Guys, The Rock is on sale for $4.99. I can't tell you how happy this makes me. Add another title to my Cage collection!

For those who don't know, all the Criterion DVD extras for The Rock are on the 2008 Disney Blu-ray release. This is apparently one of those DVD releases that was Criterion-banner licensed only.

Criterion licensed many films from Disney during the Laserdisc era but Disney paid for the creation of the extras. So Disney owns these extras.

Grease Live is really good. It was my favorite of the Live tv productions.

The JustWatch app is a great resource to check where a movie is available to rent, buy or stream. Also handy is see what new movies have landed on selected streaming services. I use it daily.

^^^ Thanks. Pretty decent deal. I've seen 3 of the 6 movies, but never really felt like investing a lot of money to purchase them on disc. For $10 and not wasting any shelf space, I can live with that price.

Edit: Each movie separately was $10 each. So this was actually a huge savings.

Also Spaceballs for $5.99 (not MA). I also picked up The Great Outdoors (MA) for $4.99 from this weekend’s sales.
