The steelbook was pushed back to December. They corrected the artwork with the F14.

I watched half of the movie last night and it definitely looks like an older digital master. Some parts look really bad, especially in areas like the briefing room scenes when they're going over flight footage. I'm getting the 4K disc, so hopefully the UHD digital will greatly improve those areas.

what makes you think this? i have the same ole HDX on my Vudu. cover art sure doesn't mention anything. didn't know it had extras, but 3 for an older movie is rare on that site...

It looks the way I saw it when they rereleased it in theaters several years ago. It looks more film like with grain and had this kind of orange tint to it. Also the UHD version is listed for sale.

Saw that on Vudu's Facebook. It has been $25 before, but that's enough reason to finally get it.

I went ahead and got Harley Quinn (Birds of Prey) for $12.99 for the 4K version.

Great deal for two amazing series. But I always feel that I'm pretty much always going to have HBO so I never feel the need to buy a digital copy of their series.

I do for the simple fact digital services like Vudu or iTunes have extras, even if just small. It’s something. I just like Vudu interface best of all as I’ve said many times...

That is a great deal. Though I didn't enjoy The Pacific quite as much, I never upgraded my BoB set to Blu, so I may bite. (Any word on a 4K version coming in the future?) However, it seems that Vudu doesn't have the feature length (and *very* emotional) 80 minute We Stand Alone Together doc with the actual men of Easy Company telling their stories. That thing is as essential as the series itself, so I guess I'll hang onto my DVD set.

As I've shifted to all digital I've finally realized that most disc extras are fluff that I will never revisit. But things like the above make me keep some of my discs around.

$2 credit for streaming a Last Chance Free title today. Code will be e-mailed on or around 6/2/20.

I pulled the trigger on the Mad Men deal. That takes me back to the Amazon tradition of having the new BD on sale for $9.99 on Black Friday. I got a few seasons that way, then when they stopped I bought one digitally then never bought any more.

Thanks for the reminder! Decent selection to choose from this month. I decided to travel back to my childhood and watch 1990's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Yup got mine too. I'll save it for tomorrow when they refresh their deals list. Nothing in it currently I really want to own.

They're having an all 70's decade movie sale. All movies $7...saw some for less. These sales are usually good for a few days?

Their sales generally refresh on Tuesdays and Fridays, so if you purchase before then you should be safe, though many of their sales last longer.

I keep holding out for a $5 Willy Wonka, and least they’ve gone from their usual $9.99 to $7.
