Did anybody else lose a whole heck of a lot of movies in their VUDU library today?

I lost about ~180 movies and 4 tv series. Hopefully it's just temporary but I know I was at over 700 movies and 99 tv series. Today I redeemed Batman Animated Series (and the two movies) and that went through fine, but this is the first major hiccup I've had.

It also looks like VUDU refreshed a lot of things this morning as my order of titles is completely off. Therefore, I have no clue what I even have anymore. I'll cross my fingers for a temporary glitch and check it again tomorrow before I contact them, but what a way to wake up on Tuesday.

I think it's Movies Anywhere's fault (at least on the Movie stuff) as that one has went down by about the same number. Freaky.

Yeah, there was talk on the G+ boards today. It got me too.

You just have to relink your UV account to Vudu.

You'll probably have a note that says your UV acct needs attention. Just relink then they should repopulate shortly.

I saw someone mention the same for FandangoNow, but mine says it's still linked.

I think it's taking a long time to re-populate. I have different amounts across my platforms. I did have to reconnect UV through VUDU, though, but when I went to MA it said all of the retailers were connected.

I hope this doesn't affect the connected accounts I have with a friend. I just texted him that he needs to reconnect, as well.

I have so many of those titles in HDX already. I know I want Hostiles and Source Code but can't decide on a third one I don't already have.

Any opinions on Hurricane Heist, Transporter 3, Mechanic Resurrection, Snitch, Pushisher, Knowing or Push?

Or I could get Evil Dead, but I'm not a fan of gross out gore....

Any UV you redeemed/bought on Vudu should have still showed on Vudu even if your UV account became unlinked.
What you're "missing" when disconnected is all of the other UV retailers you've redeemed/bought at like FandangoNow, Paramount, CinemaNow, Paramount, Sony, Flixster, etc.

I was probably only missing around 200, and they seem to be back now. But the general consensus seems to be to wait about 24 hours to make sure.

I'll run a report later and compare.

I had a general idea of how many titles I had in Vudu. After seeing this news, checked and I was down about 300. Did the re-link and refreshed, about 50 back. Checked again a couple minutes later, maybe 100 back. Checked a third time about ten minutes later and think it’s all good. Perhaps they repopulate one provider at a time.

Thinking of Hostiles myself, and then probably Terminator 2 (to upgrade my SD copy) & American Psycho (don't have on disc or digital).

On your opinions...Snitch is alright, just I think Dwayne has done a lot better films. Pushisher is the story of a vigilante who doesn't use guns but pushes you to decisions you wouldn't normally make. Okay, I'm joking, but Punisher is still in my opinion the best representation of the Marvel gun-toting revenge soothing anti-hero I've seen. Some here will argue Lundgren and Stevenson but I stick with Thomas Jane's representation.

I don't think I've seen any of the ones you mention, other than Evil Dead, but I agree that might not be the best one for 4K. :lol:

I'm so lame that I'm considering jumping in on the deal even though I have many of them on HD already (except Terminator 2), AND I don't have a 4K TV! rotfl

Are people thinking of Hostiles as a blind buy? It's a film I'd recommend picking up, and one that should especially benefit from the UHD quality. Some of the character motives seem 'wishy washy' changing more to fit the plot than in a convincing manner but it seems more self-reflective than average and overall I enjoyed it despite seeing some of it's weaknesses.

I'm leaning towards Dredd, Blair Witch, and Early Man myself.

Not sure about Escape Plan 2, I didn't feel like EP1 was an especially good film.
