Roku LT is currently $40 at Amazon. It's from a 3rd-party seller. But it's in New condition and shipped through Amazon (Free Prime Shipping).

I can certainly adapt to 720p, and the availablility of Composite video for backward-compatibility to older TVs is a plus, but lack of an Ethernet port makes it a tough sell for me.

But it supports Vudu (albeit in HD/720, not HDX/1080, which is not ideal but certainly acceptable)

It's a great streamer for smaller TVs like in the bedroom. I've got one hooked up to an old SD TV and it works great. And I can easily move it to the guest room for visitors.

But for the home theater I recommend a Roku 3. It's worth paying extra to get the ethernet port and 1080p.

^ or a Roku 2 XS, which also has the ethernet port and 1080p and can be had for just over half the price of the Roku 3. :)
