Ep 9 of 14 of the current season of Grey's Anatomy on Hulu. Ahhhh, soap opera at its best.

The Town That Dreaded Sundown(2014) on Amazon Prime. It was a decent movie with a different approach and it wasn't a remake, but kind of a meta type movie.

Chef

I really, really like this movie, and I have a feeling that, over time, it'll be one I revisit frequently. It's the perfect example of a feel-good movie.

I've rewatched Chef many times already, it's such a pleasant movie. And a nice metaphor for Favreau's career.

Finished Breaking Bad. First show with more than a season my wife and I binged watched over a couple of months. I was surprised how entertaining it was. I knew how big and popular it was, but since we missed the first 3 seasons, I just decided to avoid reading any spoilers and just watch it all at once. I'm glad I did.

Mad Men s1 and first 5 of s2. Excellent show, tho as with any slower paced show I've fallen asleep to it a few times. Really nails that awesome midlife despair and emptiness that I sense right around the corner. For such an acclaimed character though, I find Peggy surprisingly a bit under developed.

Assassins on Netflix. The last time I saw it was about maybe ten years ago.

Misery Loves Comedy

Directed by Kevin Pollak. It's a talking heads documentary with a bunch of different comedians - enjoyable if you're into stand-up, but probably worth waiting and catching later on Netflix or cable.

The Dictator and Let's Be Cops on Saturday night. Neither were great, in my opinion, but they held my interest. I watched Blade Runner for the first time on Friday night, and that was great!

The Skeleton Twins tonight, and I loved it. I didn't really know what to expect (I'd heard very little about it) but was really impressed with the performances.

Wiig is proving herself to be a very capable actress, though Skeleton Twins is easily the best indie she's done.

Liv and Maddie S1 on Netflix.
I'm not part of the demographic but I have to say that I really enjoyed the show. Way better than Jessie or Austin and Ally.

Samurai Jack on Hulu. Unfortunately, it looked like crap on my HDTV, and had tons of dot crawl and blurring.

What are you using to view it on your TV? Not that I think it matters, it looks pretty poor on PC as well.

I've been watching season 1 of Orange is the New Black. Didn't understand the hype about it prior to watching, but now I totally get it. On Friday night, I watched Wet Hot American Summer for the first time, and loved it.
