Threads on new streaming shows would be cool. Kind of like the DVD release date threads in the DVD talk forum. I'm sure if someone is off Netflix and they see a "Simpsons - Netlfix - 4/1/12" thread they might restart their subscription.

Ya know....as easy as it is to get out of hand with too many "sub-sections" - I think it may prove to be helpful....I mean there are so many now and there are a lot of people who use all the different services (as opposed to just a couple here and there for the more unknown services....there are a ton of people using those lesser known ones as well).

As someone who doesn't have cable (and doesn't plan to shell out for it either) I would love to see a thread on "cutting the cord/dish".

Also: is there value to breaking out some of the more popular devices/services into their own threads? I.e. Netflix, Hulu+, etc.?

And one very specific question: I LOVE AMC's original programming (Breaking Bad is my favorite 1-hour show ever, and I watch Mad Men and Walking Dead too) -- but they do not have an HBOGO-like service nor do they appear to offer their recent episodes online -- so if you don't have AMC you pretty much have to wait for the DVDs. Am I right about this? No streaming option?

^ You can buy recent AMC episodes on Amazon Instant Video for $1.99 (SD) or $2.99 (HD) each. If you buy the whole season at once, each episode is ~5% less.

They do not offer an all-in existing-subscriber option like HBO GO, though.

i would like to see an Amazon deals thread like the one that exists for blu-rays & dvds. they have so many things it's very difficult to filter through it all to find new deals. i'm mainly interested in t.v. show full seasons. i'm not a renter. if i'm going to pay money for it, i want to keep it.

Love this thread! I would like to know what is upcoming to stream on Netflix. For example I would love to know when they are going to stream the next season of The Walking Dead or Sons of Anarchy. For now I just keeping checking every day.
