I placed an order with them on March 26, 2001.
When I didnt receive an email confirmation from them after 12 hours, I emailed them like their site said I should do. No response after 3 emails. They charged my card on March 29, 2001. Today April 10, 2001, still no order received, no response. Update.... Today May 11, no order, no repsonse. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!! I repeat, STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!! Like many Hong Kong retailers they aren't good on emails. And the shipments take a LONG, LONG time compared with the seemingly instant gratification of the US sites. So maybe it's not wise to order if you are easily panicked. But it's still pretty early. I usually get my HK orders a month after I order. No matter who I've ordered from. OneAsia sometimes took two months. But I always got it. Itchee.com is actually one of the better HK retailers IMHO.

I'm not panicking yet, though. :) I just don't understand whay it so diffucult to return an email, especially when their site says, We try to respond the same day. |

FYI, I dealt with itchee before and had a great experience. Their CS is weak due to distance and language barrier. However, the product did get here. It can take as long as a month or more if they send it the slow (cheaper ) way. It is highly unlikely you will receive ANYTHING from them within 2 weeks of your card being shipped UNLESS you paid for upgraded express shipping. Email them to give you an order status, but realize it could take days to get an answer. |
They are also in a different time-zone. When you are awake, they are asleep and vice-versa. I've never gotten a confirmation from them before; but always got my stuff within ten to twenty days.

Well today, I FINALLY received an email from them saying:
Dear Valuable Customer, Thank you very much for your shopping at Itchee.com. Regarding your order, we're sorry to inform you that our supplier is having their stock inventory at this moment and temporary can't provide the stock to us untill further notice. We'll arrange to cancel your order immediately and credit back the full amount of your order into your credit card account. We're sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and please feel free to contact us at [email protected] if you have any other questions. Best Regards, Itchee.com Order Department Hopefully, I'll get my credit before the Star Wars Saga is released on DVD. |
