I recently tried using Switchouse.com. I placed an order with a member who had a perfect rating at the time, sent the money via paypal, and within a week, the member had been suspended. There are probably fifty posts on his feedback page now, and they all say that they never received the movies and games they'd paid for. I've been trying to get a hold of someone at Switchouse for over 2 weeks now and they won't return my e-mails. Does anyone know anything about this company or if there's any chance I'll get my money back?

Email/call Paypal - they'll refund your dough if you can get through to them.

Switchhouse: go into the Swapping cart, find the trade, and click on "Customer Service" on that page. In the past they've gotten back to me in 4-5 days.

I loved Switchhouse when I discovered it last year. The 1st few months were great, but as word spread about the site I started having bad deals. I eventually left the site after 4 consecutive bad deals and haven't been back since. I did get my money back for 2 of the deals because their new guarantee policy went into effect, but I was screwed on the other 2 deals.

Live and learn.

Jamesrmay2, go to the page with the details of your deal and there is a customer service button. Click on that and you'll get page where you can describe the problem that you had. I had one trade go bad, where the dude ripped me off and did this. Switchouse got back to me within a day or two then sent me a claim for which I had to mail back to them. They then replaced the item that I lost.

Just a word to the wise about Switchouse. Always check the person's feedback. Register with Swichouse by leaving a credit card number and trade only with other registered users or users that have a lot of feedback from other registered users. Insist that unregistered traders send first. These are some things that can help you avoid bad trades. Good luck.
