Currenlty , Amazon has free shipping on some DVD. If I order as these items as Gift, what do they put on the declare form to Canada , full price? or actual price? Will I be charged 5$ plux tax GST/PST at the border?
Please post your comments and thanks for your help.

I always mark them as a gift. Dozens of orders latter (always free with gcs) and never a duty charge. Never had a customs form either.. The box just arrives (purolator)..

Buddy, calm down, I will solve all your problems. Amazon ships via Purolator to Canada (if you pick standard shipping that is). Purolator packages do not get assessed any customs charges or duties or tax at the border because they are (in some way) linked to the Canada Post Corporation. Therefore any packages that come through via Purolator will have no hidden charges attached to them. I've had packages worth $20 US to over $250 US come through the border via purolator, and haven't paid a single penny in customs charges.

Yes not problems with Amazon, at least so far. If you order using WorldMail it will come with Purolator and it won't be hit by the customs. You don't need the gift stuff.
