I'm quite surprised that Border's has the amount of well priced DVDs that they do. I've been able to grab may Criterions(SOTL, Robocop, 7Samurai,etc) and reasonable 19.99 to 24.99 prices, but today, I guess all the IMAGE pictures movis are being discontinued for Universal rereleases, so I was able to grab copies of
They Live!
Meaning of Life
MST3K:The Movie
for 9.99 each. I'd been looking for They Live! forever and I find like 4 at Borders! God I love that movie. Anyways, do I live in a non-DVD area? or is border's pretty good overall?

i have to agree with you. Borders does have a good selection, and good prices. they usually carry things that Best Buy doesn't.

I like them too. For example right now they have very good prices on 4 great movies:

Bridge on the River Kwai Limited Edition: $24.99
Dark City: $12.99
L.A. Confidential: $12.99
North by Northwest: $12.99 (a must-have in any decent collection, especially at this price)

Even their smaller stores carry some of the better movies you would never find at Circuit City or Best Buy.

They have a good selection, but unfortunately usually only carry one copy of each movie they have (at least mine does.) Doing that definitely maximizes their space and allows a greater variety, but it sucks to miss out on a title you took 24 hours to think about.

You snooze you lose apparently goes for a lot of things.

Might pick up North by Northwest if they have it for that price!
