I didn't see a section anywhere for entering a coupon code at CDNOW... not even in their help section.

Can someone tell me how I can do this?

CDNOW uses cookies not "code words", so if you do not use a web link and use it at the time you are visiting the site... I personally have yet to figure out how to use the discount at another visit ...so you loose the discount.

Maybe I'm a bit dumb here tonight... but could you be a little clearer? Do I just shop via cdnow.com and not through linking from other sites? Where does the field to enter the coupon code show up? I have a coupon I'd like to use.

You can not just enter 'Discount CODES' at CDNOW.COM!

Now if you have a Gift Certificate?
Simply click or copy and paste the link from your Gift Certificate email into your Web browser. Login to your account (if you are not already logged in) to view your online Gift Certificate. Your credit will appear in your Shopping Cart.

CDNOW uses cookies, they use to use "CODE"s but at one time they 'GOOFED' and many abbused the "CODES" so they changed to the cookies... which I know of a few have cheated...

You have to use a link which will show you what discount you are shopping with. You can find these,when they are available,at several locations online including this one.
