I had an item i wanted to add to one of my preorders that will ship on the 13th, but I paid for it partially with a gc. It wouldn't let me combine the orders, so I called up the Amazon CS dept. They couldn't combine the orders either, so they gave me free shipping on it, plus they shipped out the order I wanted to add today, so I get it before the other two!! I hope Amazon never goes out of business.

They're so inconsistent with that, though. I asked them last week to combine 2 orders, only 1 of which had GCs on it, and they wouldn't do it.

Last year I wanted to combine 2 orders paid for by GCs. I called the CS and they happily adjusted the shipping on the 2nd order to $0.99 or something(the incremental fee), effectively making the grand total the same as combining the orders.

They also happily cross ship items if you need to replace the damaged ones. Most other etailers will want to receive the damaged before sending out replacement.

So far I am happy with Amazon :)
