Here's a link to a long article in today's (2/24/01) SF Chronicle about webpricing errors. I've included a couple quotes.

Looks like the Better Business Bureau Online(who dey?) is getting involved.

"Some e-tailers feel obliged to deliver on their blunders; others cancel delivery. With no clear legal precedent yet, the Better Business Bureau Online will institute new standards next month that will, in many cases, require participating online merchants who make Web errors to honor even absurdly low posted prices. "

And going back to Scamazon last year:

"By fall, Amazon had disgruntled customers complaining to the Federal Trade Commission after the company canceled orders on toys and DVD sets that carried erroneously low price tags."

Rule # 1 - Never snatch a bargain from a DVDTalker or they'll make a federal case out of it.

And I never did get my Jet Li set :(
