just posted this as a response to something else in the 'will click' forum, but thought everyone should know about this...

word of warning when you're using your express.com GC's:

after playing the 'in-stock' game for a little while, i started adding some titles to my cart.. i was doing this using the search method, and adding titles to my cart straight from the search. when doing so, i noticed that several titles' prices were higher than they had showed on the search results screen. examples:

kids: 17.49 -> 22.49 (difference = 5.00)
shaft 2000: 20.99 -> 26.99 (6.00)
santana supernatural: 17.49 -> 22.48 (4.99)
hollow man: 17.46 -> 18.71 (1.25)
grateful dead live box: 48.96 -> 59.46 (10.50)

those are just to name a few. i called their customer service and explained the problem, and they adjusted the price and i ordered on the phone with my GC.

bottom line: do a search for all the titles you want, and compare prices. for hollow man, DON'T type 'hollow man' in for your search - it'll bring you right to the buying screen. instead, search for 'hollow', and the search results screen will come up with the lower price. call on the phone to get the lower prices.

Must have something to do with having GCs?

My 'general' inquiries on the DVDs you mentioned resulted in the prices being the same. Both on the match listing & on the particular DVD info screen itself. ??

Looks like Express bumped their prices up a couple of days ago. The discrepencies are probably due to some synchronization problems they had with their databases.
