How long for Netflix?

I live on the east coast, and I have been finding that it typically takes ATLEAST 7 days from shipment for my DVDs to arrive to me and to be classified as returned by them after I ship them.
Is this typical??? Thanks!

Yes, it's typical. I've had them take even longer than 7 days. That's one of the reasons why I just cancelled netflix - I couldn't justify the slow turnover - I was lucky to view 5-6 DVD's per month - at the 19.95 per month on was on, it just wasn't worth it. I'll stick to buying, library, and Blockbuster until (1)Neflix gets their act together and opens an east coast distribution center, or (2) a worthy competitor surfaces.
