Yet another issue with Amazon - any suggestions?

Cut a long story short - I ordered a DVD and got charged three times for the shipping.

I have written to Amazon but as most of you know they take little to no interest in their customers or their concerns.

Any ideas? Telling VISA could be a pain as I have already got the DVD.

Give them a call. Sometimes email may take longer to get a response.

FHRX, here's their # 1-800-201-7575. If it's a toll call for you, email me the details of the problem, and I'll be able to call for you.

[I worked as an operator during Summer. Since I live in Québec that means that we receive all the Canadian international calls and even many international calls for US]

You cannot call toll free numbers (1-800, 1-888...) if you are outside US or Canada (and even US has some 800 numbers that Canadians cannot call and Canada has some 800 numbers that Americans cannot call).

You can't imagine how many times I had to explain to Canadians visiting other countries that they cannot call their bank if they only have a 800 numbers, even if it is important and that their credit card was stolen. Even if they want to pay, it is impossible, they need a regular number.
