I wrote to Amazon asking why they don't give anything to their international customers. Check out the reply!

Dear Marty,

Thank you for writing to Amazon.com.

We occasionally offer promotional certificates to encourage customers
to shop at Amazon.com. However, please be assured that we value all
of our international customers highly, and we appreciate your loyalty. I
hope that you will be able to take advantage of one of our future
promotions.

Please don't hesitate to contact us should you have any further
questions, and thanks for shopping at Amazon.com!

Best regards,

Steffen P.

I feel your pain Fhrx and it is a lousy reply but it’s a subject better suited to the On Line Store forum.

It's like that everywhere Fhrx. I wouldn't take it personally as we live on a planet with billions of other arses.

Fhrx,

Do you buy from them or just redeem? How many discs have you gotten from them? If you do buy from them, how often? Do you know anyone in Australia who has ever gotten a gc or coupon?

I think we're all going to be weaned off of gc/coupons soon. I think the sellers are taking a tip from the movie 'Wall Street': don't see someone a ticket for $300 if they're willing to pay $700.

what kind of response was really expected? "Okay, because of you, we'll lose more money and change our sales tactics"? be realistic.

You are certainly welcome to it. How would you prefer your butt, arse or ass?
