They have now cancelled my third order! Wow, these people are horrible. And did I mention that they NEVER even told me that they cancelled them?

I emailed once complaining about it and they sent me a "coupon". BUT the coupon DIDN'T WORK! They probably did that just to mock me.

I wouldn't even buy DVDs there if they cost $1!

Join the club. I had 2 orders cancelled, and didn't find out until I sent them an e-mail questioning the status of the orders. They also sent me a coupon (20% off), and I immediately deleted it. I don't even want their coupon taking up ANY of my hard drive space.

I bought from these guys through half.com a while back (over the summer) and had some trouble getting the order. Half.com usually allows a good amount of time and the time was about running out when a guy saw my post in a similar topic on this board and took care of me. He was an executive at closeout and if you ever need to contact them, I'm sure you can find his name through a search of closeoutvideo

An executive? Heh heh, you missed a few posts, this guy basically runs the site with his wife and his kids...heh heh kidding baout the kid part but I doubt they have over 5 employees and, I wouldnt call anyone of them executives. And I also wouldnt imagine a real executive trolling these sites dropping self promotions and crappy coupons for items that are never in stock when they say they are. Im not flamin ya, just dont like this company.

Not only would I not call them "executives," I wouldn't call them competent.

add me to the list of people that would like to meet them in real life. I would teach them the meaning of the words "OUCH...Crap! Stop!"

As the last remaining loyal Closeoutvideo customer I feel compelled to step in and say good things this company!

There's no excuse for canceling an order but I think it's important to remember that they are in fact a very small company. You can't expect the service and reliability of Amazon.com or BN.com and still retain the good prices. They have some extraordinary deals if you are lucky enough to take advantage of them. I have to admit that I'm batting about .600 with the orders I've placed but the deals I've gotten more than make up for the cancelled orders.

And besides, I like how they beg for forgiveness!
