Stores like B&N, Bigstar, TWEC etc all charge really high prices because coupons are all over the place to bring their prices back down to normal levels. They just hope people don't notice this.

Now my question is this: How come amazon's prices are through the roof also most of the time and coupons like 10 of 30 are harder to come by than flying pigs?

I'm guessing because Amazon prides themselves on their huge database, reviews, information and excellent customer service. They feel they don't need to bring people in with pricing because that'll be done with service. Seems like an OK argument but not for most DVDTalkers..........
