My order info says it is ON ORDER. It sucks how people that ordered from them after I did have it now, yet I still don't have it and it is backordered. Nice to know that they don't care at all about when you preorder something...it must be random or something as to who gets priority.
THIS SUCKS!

I've been waiting for the six film set. Buy now says they shipped yesterday. That was MLK day so it probably actually went out today.
Judging from my experience with Buy, it does seem random when you get it.

I just posted a similar comment in another topic, but I guess it's even more appropriate here.
After hearing that some people on this forum had received the Oliver Stone 10 set that they had ordered in early January, I called customer service. I placed an order for it on December 18, and it is still "on order" (as of yesterday). I told the CSR that this just didn't seem right, and she definitely agreed and said she would report the issue to her supervisor. Also, she agreed to give me another $10 discount on the set when it was billed (not a concession discount against a new order). After getting it on a 30/150 coupon, and using another free shipping concession, it will actually be pretty darn reasonable when I get it.
Just thought I'd mention that it might be worth a call if you did pre-order in December, and mention that a friend was told he'd be getting a discount because of the delay.
C ya.

Mine still says "sent to warehouse / on order!" Haven't even gotten the $5.99 Young Guns yet either. Funny thing is, Young Guns is on pre-order for 2/20/2001 and the new price is $7.49!

Sure, I may offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musky oders- oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about 'What's to be done with this Homer Simpson?'"
