Has anyone recently bought anything from closeoutvideo.com? My order has been stuck on "Incomplete" for a few days and I was wondering what that exactly meant. If you bought anything recently, is your order status different?

Thanks!

This happens a lot at Closeoutvideo but just hold tight and you'll get your order (or partial order) soon enough. They are a small store and I especially like how they ask for pity and understanding. It's honest. I'm grateful for the good discounts and will continue to give them my business in the future...

OK, but so far my experience of Closeoutvideo has been pretty bad. They apparently cancelled one of my orders and never ever told me.

Thanks for replying!

If you do a search in this forum and the DVD Bargains forum you will obtain more information on how this company operates. In short, the prices may be great but once you place your order you don't know what you will get. My experience is that they are happy to work with you if your order is screwed up but that is little consolation. I mean, they still have Hard Boiled Criterion MSRP $39.99 listed as in stock on their website after that was a big problem the last two sales. Its pot luck.

One of the things that I noticed is that quality of your shopping experience is directly related to what it is that you purchase. Often times they'll have a really good deal, like low priced CC's, and then someone posts the deal in a forum and the stampede begins. They don't have unlimited stock so naturally they sell out very quickly. Naturally, this leads to complaints and rightfully so. I personally don't have a problem. They are more than willing to work with you if you've had a bad experience. My advice: Speak with your wallet. Don't buy from them if the quality of service is unacceptable to you.

That leaves more for me!

I ordered a new copy of Nutty Profffesor 2 on 1/17 for 9.99, they showed 12 in stock after I placed 1 in the cart. Today they e-mail saying they are out of stock. Could it they don't want to honor a probable pricing mistake?
