Hi, I've been waiting to summarize my results from the last sale at CloseoutVideo, where we had another of those "coupon frenzies". Since the other thread in this online store forum asks for reports about negative experiences, I started another one, with the intent of gathering results, both good and bad.

Overall, I'm very happy with the results of my orders. It was a lot better than the previous 20% sale from a couple of months ago. I trust the people there. There are some obvious inventory problems, but they were improved this time around, and they seem to make a sincere effort to correct mistakes, whenever possible.

My results:
I placed a total of 8 orders, 7 on the first day of the sale, 11/29, and 1 on 11/30.
I printed out my completed orders from the website, but never got any confirmation emails, or shipping notices. I did get one email stating that the two items on one order were out of stock, so that order was cancelled. When I found out that the copies of "The Killer" Criterion were the Fox version (the CC was pictured), I sent an email to cancel that item from my first order, and that was honored.

My 7 packages arrived between 12/7 and 12/11, 6-7 business days from the order date.

I received 52 of the 65 titles I ordered, 80% successful. Included in the order were 15 Criterion titles, and I got 7 of those. For non-Criterion titles, the fill rate was 45 of 50, or 90%.
All DVDs were new and sealed, as ordered.
All charges were correct for the items received.
Two discs were "rattlers", and two were the wrong version (understandable since they were movies with the same title). They are all being replaced or exchanged, and I was sent a return shipping label.
Total shipping charges ($35), averaged out to 67 cents each, very reasonable. There was no tax.

So, my experiences with this company have been mostly positive. Sure there were problems, but they have had some deals that were pretty hard to match. I will do business with them in the future.
I also posted this in the DVD bargains thread about this topic.
