Looks like a good deal to me. This player retails for about $300, and it has similar features to the Toshiba SD2200, which I picked up from 800.com for $180 during the 20% off from MSN Passport deal. The one I got is only 2 discs, though. The things I looked for were DD5.1 and DTS output (look for a built-in DD5.1 decoder if you don't have a receiver with Dolby Digital decoding), component video output and varous convenience features (these vary from person to person). Both the player I got and this player have DD5.1 and DTS output, though I don't know if this Pioneer player has DD5.1 decoding. They also both have component video output. Hope this helps!

I believe that $50 rebate offer is only good if you buy a Pioneer dvd player and a Pioneer or Pioneer Elite Receiver. You better go back and read the terms of the rebate form. Amazon.com does have a Pioneer DV333 for $199.99, add a 2 pack of AA batteries and you can use that $50 off $200 coupon and get that dvd player for $149.99, + the batteries.
