Every order I have placed is gone right now, and the only items that appear on the screen are shipped items. This computer glitch sucks, I hope it doesn't escalate to a bigger problem.


Anyone else with weird problems with amazon.com lately.

I just had the EXACT same problem (posted in the Amazon Shipping Problems topic).

Called them up and they said that somehow my gift certificates were screwed up (?). They fixed it for me... and now everything will get shipped (FINALLY!! GLADIATOR!!!)

Same here, two of the films have been shipped, just mailed them. I guess they sort it out pretty fast.

My screen is now fixed with the items having the correct information, after I bought an item with gc's. Still, that glitch had me worried that something horrible happened. Amazon.com has been having way too many problems this year!

I am having the same problem with my account. I called their customer service number and they said they would investigate what happened and e-mail me back.

Got the same problem, my preorder for Se7en and Gladiator has disappeared. Will wait a day for them to fix it. After that I'll mail them.

Same happened here, so I just emailed them and will wait for a response. Starting to sweat a little!

Same here... A complete order with GC is missing (was one with the free shipping promo)... Maybe that's the case?

I found my orders. The only ones that appear to be missing are the ones paid for with some amount of GCs.

I found them only when I went to combine two open orders and saw the missing orders in the section where it states that you can't combine x orders because they were paid for with GCs.

So they are there, but hidden. I am not happy with this glitch, but at least I found them...

I'm glad it's still there, but I hope they fix this glitch soon.

Same here order I placed last week is completely gone. It was backordered for a few weeks and paid mostly with gcs.

The orders are indeed accessible through Your Items -> View items ordered -> in the last three months. At least they haven't lost them.

Yeah just checked glad its still there.

One of my orders has just reappeared under the regular recent orders page.

Nothing seems to be shipping though. "Item Availability: 1 to be released: November 21, 2000" indeed. I just love when they say that on November 30.

Just sent them an e-mail hoping they'll do me a solid and give me free shipping or give me an additional GC for my "pain and suffering". I'll give it a couple of days before I panic.

It looks like they fixed the problem. My account looks fine now.

If it still says To Be Released: November 20, 2000 or whatever, I suggest you call them right away -- it most likely means that your order will not ship.

I called them and they told me that my Gladiator was to arrive from one warehouse but somehow they ran out of stock -- my account had been pointing to this empty warehouse all this time which caused my order to not ship!

The good news: after correcting the mistake, they bumped my mail priority to express http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/smile.gif

Mine had vansished yesterday, but they are back this morning.
