It used to be that when I refered a friend I would recieve a $5 coupon after my friend's order shipped. Lately though I'm not recieving the "Thank You for referring a friend" $5 coupon after theirs ships. Wazzup?!?

Has anyone who is sending them legitimately notified Scamazon of the problem? They might not even know about it...

same here - no GCs. it's ok though - if i need one, i can always just refer more 'friends' who don't mind sharing.

Never had a problem and I've maxed out the referrals (15?) on my account already. $5 ain't jack unless you can combine it with a $10 coupon and GCs.

Maybe someone should send them a link to this thread. DVDtalk seems to have some clout with Amazon...

Does Amazon know if you use a refer-a-friend GC RE code that you yourself sent to a different e-mail address? I did this for the first one, after getting so pissed off that the ones people were sending me were not working and so I don't want to have them realize this if I complain about not getting legitimate referrals to other people.

BTW, just to let you know, I was not dishonest as I sent the $5 RF code to the person who attempted to refer me (but my e-mail address had already received referral attempts) but could not...

Could you tell if that RF code was for a referral you made recently (like less than a week or two ago)? They might have fixed the problem but you may only get the code for referral made after the fix.

I hope they would re-issue codes that they have missed.

All four of my reward $5 GCs came in today. Looks like Amazon sends them out in bunches once a month.

I recieved one more RF code, and I do believe that these were for recently placed orders.

I got 4 of these on Monday. Are these promotional (I know the ones you send are) or can I combine all of them?

all promos...can't be combined on one order. however, since they have free shipping, you can get a bunch of electronic stuff for free right now, like disks, CDRs, mouse pads, palm cases or styli, and other cheap stuff.

so... has anyone been getting $5 for referring your friends lately? My friend's order has shipped, but I didn't get a $5 GC for referring him.

Let me know if this still works for you or not.

My "friend" placed an order a few days ago, and my $5 bonus arrived the morning after the order shipped.
