Anyone know why? Too many hits today? Site hacked?

I find this kind of funny in light of their recent ad campaign highlighting always-open internet shopping.

Strange! I really hope they don't take an outtime as long as freeride....

Just re-checked and the site is up and running again (for the moment, at least).

hehe, this post reminds me of that amazon.com ad where those people show up at the mall at 3 in the morning, and they're like "It's closed. What's going on?"

According to <A HREF="http://abcnews.go.com/sections/business/DailyNews/amazoncrash_001124.html">ABC News </A>, the site experienced a bug which brought the web site down for 30 minutes.
