Does anybody know if signatures are required for purchases shipped UPS ground from buy.com and/or onvia.com? I seem to recall a signature required from a previous buy.com order, but I am not sure of that.

Thanks for your help,
phong

btw: Both orders are for computer equipment (hard drive and controller).. in case that matters whether the stores make UPS ask for a signature.

Never had one required by Buy.com.

Me neither.

The only place that requires a signature is any purchase made from Outpost.com.

They have free overnight shipping from Airborne Express which is nice except if you are not there to sign for it.

From buy.com: no, but I've never bought anything big or expensive from them.

From onvia: yes. It was for a printer that came in the original manufacturer box with full pictures and labels, too visible to would-be thieves
