The day I cancelled Netflix I sent back all 4 movies. WIthin a week they have received 3 of them, and somehow the 4th was "lost" and they charged me 31 bux for it! (Braveheart).

I am in the process of getting my CC company to rebuke the charge, but they need to talk to Netflix first.

First and last time I deal with online dvd rental places...

Netflix used to be good. That is, when they had their free rental months, quick processing of orders and returns, and "no hassle" policy for lost discs. No more.

Netflix was great when they had their no hassle policy, and everything ran great. All of the sudden, they change the policy and I now have 3 lost disks, and I am getting ready to cancel my membership, before anymore get "lost".

It appears they don't "lose" them, they just charge you for the FULL MSRP + SHIPPING of the disc and KEEP IT TOO!

I got an email back after I bitched at them.

...

Hello Steve,

Thanks for your message. I apologize for the confusion. I have reviewed
your account and have confirmed that your account was closed on Oct 8th.
If we do not receive a movie back within 2 weeks of cancellation, the
customer is billed the MSRP price of that title that was not returned.
Our records indicate that "Braveheart" was returned on Oct 25th, which
is 17 days after cancellation. This is why you received the charge for
the title. Thank you for letting us know about this. We have posted a
credit for the full amount of "Braveheart" to your credit card. We
apologize for any inconvenience!

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions
or concerns.

Thanks,
Monica P.
