I had three disks on an order at BN.com - one being U-571.

I requested all disks to ship whe ALL were ready, however BN.com have shipped two of the disks stating expected shipment date for U-571 being 14th Nov.

Has there been a delay, or only with BN?.

Also, BN wont charge me more for shipping will they???

No delay - mine shipped from Djangos on Friday. B&N shouldn’t charge you anymore than what’s on your invoice.<font size="1" color="#f7f7f7">

Got mine from Buy.com today, so it's out.

Mine just shipped along with Patriot and Pitch Black from twec.com.

Just got mine today from Buy.com.

DVDealer, does twec.com alwaysship pre-orders before their release date? I thought the Patriot wasn't to be released before Oct.24? If so that's a good deal.

I think all of those that just shipped for me are supposed to have street dates of 10/24/2000 (Pitch Black, Patriot, and U-571). I guess they are shipping earlier than some other vendors.

For the most part I've had good luck with twec.com. I had one DVD get canceled and then both it and the replacement order get shipped to me by mistake, but other than that, most everything else has worked out. And I used 25% discounts on just about every order I've placed too. Wish they'd get a new 25% discount coupon out, but something tells me that those aren't coming back as the discounts for everyplace lessen.

By comparison, I've had DVDEmpire keep saying my preorder for Bubblegum Crisis #4 is delayed by one week for the last three-four weeks. Don't know how much of that's the studio's fault, but now I wish I'd ordered that with the newer Star Trek episodes coming out this coming week as well as the older ones which are waiting to ship with BC#4 to save more on shipping costs.

I just rented U-571 from Blockbuster, did they break street!?

Yeah, along with U-571, today I got Pitch Black, Patriot, American Beauty & Airplane (I already picked up Airplane 2 Monday! at Best Buy).
