There are two versions of "Pitch Black", Unrated and R-Rated. The unrated version is director's cut features 3 minutes of additional footage. Buy.com has had them for pre-order for a while, but it didn't state what version each one is until recent.

If you pre-ordered a copy before buy.com corrected this information, look into your invoice online. If the sku is 40143063, you will get the unrated version. Sku 40143062 is R-Rated.

I ordered this a long time ago and they had the two designated as rated and unrated then....my order was placed on August 17th....

That is the correct sku number for the unrated edition....has your copy shipped yet??? I am hoping their site will update to reflect this around 12pm today which means they would have shipped on Friday!!! I received The Patriot from them yesterday!!! http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/smile.gif
