Probably a silly question, but I just got this email from Gamestop…
See the deal is, I did one of those no money down preorders months and months ago… hell I practically forgot about it and was leaning towards a new subwoofer instead of the PS2… No where in the email does it tell me how to pay and if/when I would be charged. Moreover, I never gave them a credit card to begin with. I read the language to say I will be receiving a shipment on or around the 26th.

time; trust us, the rest will already be on the way!
2. WHY WAIT IN A STORE LINE WHEN YOU COULD BE PLAYING?
OK: We've told you you're getting the PlayStation 2 game console on launch
day; are you sure you're ready for the gaming to begin? If you haven't
selected your games and accessories, buy them from the list below and
we'll ship them to you in time for launch day. Don't waste precious
gaming time on October 26th by standing in a crowded store all day!! The
PS2 shortage is not just limited to the console itself; memory cards,
controllers, and games will all be in short supply. Don't run the risk of
having a PS2 and nothing new to play!!
3. SHIPPING CHARGES
You may have noticed when you placed your order that we charge shipping
for each item separately. This is because many of the items will be
releasing on different days, and from different places around the USA.
Gamestop.com MAY be able to consolidate some of the PS2 launch products
(it depends on what is released, and when, and where); if we are able to
do so, we will credit your account for the savings.
