I recieved a e-mail from Amazon today. I hit the reply button and told them that due to the "Dynamic Pricing" scam, I won't be purchasing any more products from them. I also attached a quote from the Washington Post that stated:
"Amazon, the largest and most potent force in e-commerce, was recently revealed to be selling the same DVD movies for different prices to different customers. It was the first major Web test of a strategy called "dynamic pricing," which gauges a shopper's desire, measures his means and then charges accordingly."
I hope that others are doing the same, in hopes of showing other companies, other than just Amazon that this will not be tolerated. I hope there is more support from the forum members and others that care about not getting ripped off. Please stand up a be heard.

To hell with them fellas. Buzzards gotta eat, same as the worms.
The ever increasing hole in my pocket!!!
A better understanding of Anamorphic Transfer

a hundered bucks says you will probably still continue to order from them. Especially if you are a price-motivated shopper. If Amazon has an item that is cheaper than another store, you'll order.

I'll take that bet. I am a strong believer in standing up for your rights. I'll pay a dollar or two extra not to shop at scamazon. Why give someone the chance to keep gouging your pocket. I'd rather give my money to someone who is honest, and charges everyone the same.
You must be a weak minded person, if you let someone charge you more than another person for the same item and then go back for more.

BullS*&t if they would have spun the varrible pricing as a promotion "some lucky coustomers will receive 40%" no one would have cared.
I work for a huge corperation, and beleive me there is no collective concious. there is no such thing as "amazon.com" as athinking entity. 1 guy in marketing asked for the test and got it approved by one other guy.
thery are non a huge evil corperation they just fell victim to two guys not thinking clearly.
I think they are over all a good retailer. and they finance the IMDB whic is a great website. give them another chance.
