I have used it in the past. I received a weather radio and a pedometer. I haven't recieved a rebate yet, though my status has been updated to received. From what I hear they do pay though. It just takes a while.

I've ordered stuff, was very happy with the quality. Got my rebates but it does take a long time. I assume they are making money off of having my money to play with for a while.

Took around 3-4 months for my rebates. It is really nice to open the mailbox and have 7-8 seperate checks waiting for you. I've done tons of rebates and CompUSA rebates take even longer. Several of the companies have gone out of business because you can get the rebate.

If you plan to buy something from Cyberrebate, I'd suggest ordering before Nov else come Xmas season, they'll probably be swamped with rebate submissions and you may have to wait 4-6 months for checks.

I was wondering if they were back or not! I wonder how many people actually got any money back from them.

People got back about 8 cents on the dollar.

There's a good story by a former employee in this thread:

When I put together my previous computer in 2000, I bought half of my parts through Cyberrebate. Their prices were more than double anywhere else, and it did take a number of months to get my rebates, but I did get them all.

Like others have said, I am sure they made their money by seriously overcharging people for easiliy available items, holding onto the money for too long, then cutting checks after a few months of making interest.
