Their B&M are too expensive compared to Best Buy and there are other etailers (dvdempire, 800.com) that are cheaper than their website depending on what you're looking for.
You must have a Gift Card with Suncoast. If that's the case, use it on their website. It is cheaper than their B&M. ------------------ "You had me at hello.....tear." --Dr. Evil |
Suncoast's prices are too high....as an above post suggested....check dvd price search or use coupons from this very forum and shop at some of these stores which offer better prices along with coupons!!!
|
I should clarify: I intend to order thru their website only. Films like Attack of the Giant Leeches/Screaming Skull, Bava's Black Sabbath, Disc 2 of Cartoons That Time Forgot by Ub Iwerks, etc. I'm curious about their delivery process.

If you can, take your $$$ and buy a giftcard and wait until a 20% off weekend on-line (should be one soon - it's been about 2 months). Suncoast.com actually has some pretty good prices to begin with, and with 20% off they're generally unbeatable (excluding click-for-GC-type deals).

Don't know if you saw this on their site, but you can use it to maximize your savings right now:
"Get an $8.00 Gift Card by mail when you buy any two Columbia/Tristar Home Video DVDs at Suncoast.com or MediaPlay.com from August 28-October 1, 2000. Both DVDs must be purchased at the same time. Official mail-in certificate must be postmarked by 11/5/00. Not redeemable at retail stores." I've always had good business with them and receive my order within about a week. ------------------ JuryDuty "Don't blame me, I voted for Jack." |
I guess the first question here is: are you intent on buying the DVDs from Suncoast, or would you rather get a good price on them? The answer to this question will help determine how to answer your first question. You can probably get the same DVDs around $40 or so less at 800.com, using a coupon and rebate combination.
But, if you don't care about price and want to go to Suncoast no matter what it costs, then the answer to your question is a different one. |
Samgoody.com is great if you got giftcards, The dvd prices are 30-40% off, and they get stuff in real early. Plus they have decent coupons, sometimes.
They ship in padded mailers, with bubble wrap. That's no problem for me since I live right by thier warehouse. It takes them till friday or saturday to ship preorders. ------------------ Say, can you hear that? It's the sound of the Reaper...
