I recently ordered a DVD through Half.com. It arrived today. I have not opened it yet but it looks like one or more of the teeth in the hub is broken and the DVD is loose. Should I open it and see if it is O.K. or should I immediately contact Half.com and request a refund/replacement? Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks.

Now keep in mind I sell things on half.com but my advice would be to look at it and see if you can live with the damage (if any). Getting half.com to refund your money is like trying to pull teeth.

I would suggest not purchasing anything through them anymore...try and live with any damage...your disc will probably still play ok!!! I doubt if your hub is broken...the disc probably came loose during shipment!!!

I think I am going to go ahead an open it unless anyone else has any ideas.
