Why is Barnes and Noble's website so slow?

On saturday I ordered a DVD and a CD.One of the items ships in 2-3 days. I did a ship everything when it's there!It's now Wednesday I've gotten no e-mail about my order. I also used a coupon(online) with tihs order!
Then yesterday I ordered 2 DVd's ( used a online coupon) and am waiting impatiently for my stuff to arrive!
So is Barnes and Noble's website always this slow? I also added labor day into this mess!Should'nt this stuff started to ship by now?Anyone had problems with them?These are my first orders with them so I'm a little nervous about these orders everyone!

Don't tell anyone this cuz it's a secret but the real reason B&N is slow is cuz they purposely do that so customers will think they are swamped with orders and they will feel confident that they are shopping with a good e-tailer...of course the good etailer part isn't true. Hope I made you feel better about your purchases!

Slow, as in their site speed? Or their service? They don't usually send confirmations of orders... though they do send (as I recall) you email when they ship products...
