Anyone here use Zavvi.com (UK releases shipped Int.)?
Never having used them before, I ran across some postings elsewhere where people were getting their discs damaged (at least the cases) because of poor, insubstantial packaging ala the Super D retailers here.
But I just received a steelbook here from them and it came in a decently reinforced single cardboard box. It took about twice as long as getting something from Amazon UK- but their prices are substantially lower than Amazon, with (IIRC) flat rate shipping of £1 per item (also less than Amazon).
I love and have had great service from Amazon UK, but if Zavvi uses decent packaging- even if it's just for the steelbooks, I'll be using them quite a bit from now on.

well, here's my experience so far-
even though all three titles were listed as in stock when I placed my sole order, they've each been shipped separately.
I received the steelbook from the order first about a week ago. It was in a sturdy enough, white cardboard mailer.
Next title came in today, about 6 days later. It was in a white, bubble wrap bag with no cardboard. While this is better than the domestic packaging I've been getting from the Super D e-tailers, traveling this far it's not very substantial packaging.
Unfortunately I also received an order today from Eureka and this one was also in the same white bubble bag. Both orders from them previous were in sturdy cardboard boxes. So it looks like I can't put too much faith in them either.
In contrast, every single Amazon UK/De order has been in some form of carboard- whether it's been a box or a single mailer.
It's a shame that often the price difference between Amazon and Zavvi, Eureka and others is not slight.
