Meh, every forum has its annoying members. Some of us are just used to it.

BN - I don't know how they can be in trouble. Every BN i know is in prime location and always packed. Yeah, I know not everybody in there is buying. But the Nook thing seems popular. I do remember the Sony ebooks being moved to Kobo. I could see a similar thing happening with BN ebooks. B. Dalton on the other hand often seems empty.

Not to be one of those guys but "B. Dalton still exists?" They all closed years ago in my area.

Besides a B&N connected to a local mall, there aren't any book, toy, or cd/music stores in any of the 4 local malls. Pretty much clothes, jewerly and a few other stores. There are a few more B&N in the area but other then that, no local bookstores for new books. A few used bookstores but those are always a mess and you might be lucky if a book is in the right section. Forget any sort of order within the section.

I go to B&N for the toys and to read the import magazines. I don't think I've ever purchased an over-priced book from them. They don't even price match their own website!

It's a flashy guess but 2015 is likely too soon of an estimate.
