Must have a new warehouse in State. My poor Mom will have to pay tax now.

Do you see what a can of worms this portal is? I don't think I can go on living my life as I have lived it.

I placed an order yesterday and printed out the form. Later looking at the order, I noticed the sales tax charge of 5%. (Indiana's tax is higher) I called in and spoke with a very nice CSR, and he said he knew nothing about it, he then went to his supervisor who also knew nothing about it. The supervisor then took the tax charge off my order. The web site does state that Calif. and Indiana are 2 of the 4-5 states now being charged. I guess this is another reason to concider another online store before ordering from them. The noose is getting tighter every day. I guess I will be going to Borders and Best Buy soon.

Randy810, looks like you got a good CSR. I had also called them, and even though the CSR said she would ask the credit dept to give me credit, I haven't heard from them and my receipt shows (at their site) the tax.
Guess got to live with that

Actually Borders does not charge MSRP on their DVDs. They introduced a pricing structure recently and all their DVDs are permanently discounted from MSRP.

A friend of mine noticed this Friday.

We believe that buy purchased a local company Telstar (??? or something like that, it escapes me right now) a few months back they used to be a client of the agency he works for and we both 'vaguely' remember the story in local press about the same time as the infamous coupon melee.
