Columbia House-- how long does it take?

How long does it take for Columbia House DVD Club to get your initial order out?
I joined up Online. Still waiting for my order. I called them and asked for an account number so I could register online. The website won't let me register...it says my account number/zipcode is not in their database.
ARGGH! (
One would think since I joined ONLINE I would automatically be registered but noooooo...I guess I gotta wait until they get my order shipped out before the database gets updated?

I ordered by phone and it took exactly one week to get my enrollment shipment. I've ordered online before and it took two weeks. I don't know if that was a fluke or not but everyone seems to say that ordering online is a little slower. I'd say anywhere from one to three weeks although the three weeks is probably a bit extreme.

The average has been 2 weeks if placing the order by phone and 3-5 weeks if placing the order by internet.
Your mileage may vary.
