Really odd Blockbuster by Mail Occurrence
Hopefully someone can explain how this was possible... I had something really odd happen this week.
On Monday, I returned two movies via mail (going to Chicago DC from Eastern Iowa). On Tuesday, one of the movies had returned to my mailbox. The odd thing was it had a postmark on it and cancelled postage. Now, as everyone knows, these return envelopes do not have our home addresses on them at all, so how it made it back to me is beyond me. I checked my online queue, and the two that I had stuck in the mail were no longer in my "at home" list. On Thursday, the 2nd DVD I had mailed arrived back at my house. Same deal... postmarked and everything. How the hell and why the hell did these DVDs find their way back to me? Thanks for helping me unravel this mystery. |

Barcode on the envelope was scanned.

Right, but why would they deliver them back to me?

Re: Really odd Blockbuster by Mail Occurrence
Sometimes the post office does dumb stuff like that. I've had a couple items do the same thing in the last month. The post office couldn't say why. Just for whatever dumb reason, they just came back.

After reading the thread title, I expected the story to be:
"Blockbuster sent me the Available movie from the top of my queue!" ;) |
