Amazon Order Help.
I purchased an item on Amazon that was sold by another vendor but fullfilled by Amazon on 12/12/2011.
Today I check Amazon and its sold and fullfilled by Amazon and its $50 cheaper. I called them but no luck on a price match. Can I just return the unopened item and order the reduced price item? If I return the older item will I get my money back or just credit? |
Re: Amazon Order Help.
As long as the item is still in it's original packaging (unless it was purchased used) you can return it for a full refund, minus return shipping fees.

The other is already wrapped as a gift. I plan on ordering the reduced one and just send it right back with the return shipping label I just printed. I just don't know if I should my own account. |

If It's a FBA item, they might expect the label to be on it to indicate that it is that specific one from that specific seller when you return it.

I really wouldn't be doing it for $10-$15 bucks but we are talking $57. |

Nothing bad is going to happen if you use your own account. Nobody cares unless you're trying to commit some form of fraud, which this isn't. It's like buying something from Costco and then the price goes down and you still haven't opened it. At mine, they won't do a price match so they have you return it and then buy a new one at the lower price.
