I am not sure if this is the right location for this request or not, but I was hoping someone could help me.
I received a catalog from Staples last week that included a unique coupon code for a free video camera with an online or phone order of $100. I promised my daughter that I would place an order (I was getting ready to make an order anyway) and give her the camera. Somehow I lost the catalog with my code and she is flipping out. If anyone has one of the coupon codes that they are not going to use, I would be extremely grateful for it.
Also, if this is the wrong location for this post, I would also appreciate a point in the right direction.

I would think if you called the store and explained this situation, they might be able to add the camera/code to your order. I get similar offers in Office Depot mailings, and it doesn't seem as if the coupon codes are unique.

I've already tried that. The CSR that I talked to said that each coupon code is unique and is one use only.

Do you have a local Staples nearby? Normally the catalogs are in the lobby or right by the exit door somewhere and you can just grab one ... unless they changed it, those catalogs have the coupon codes on them, too.

The weekly flyer catalog and the mailout catalog are different, I think. I'm pretty sure this was an offer for just business members or Staples Rewards members. That's why each coupon code is unique. I'm sure the camera is junk anyway, but I just hate making a promise and not following through.

I am not talking about the weekly flyer. I am talking about the product catalog. They (at least used to) give them out in the stores. The last page always had a "free with purchase" coupon with unique code on the back. They also (at least used to) had a separate catalog back in the furniture department that just had furniture in it.

The catalogs were the same ones you could request to be mailed to you from the Staples website.

I haven't purchased from Staples since they changed the free shipping requirement for base reward members.

This is why you tell your kids "we'll see." It gives them the hope that you'll follow through, while giving you an out to not follow through. It took me quite a while as a child to figure out "we'll see" means "no" 95% of the time.
