Amazon Canada Question

There are a few DVD sets I've been keeping my eye on that are exclusive to Canada. I'm just wondering, does amazon.ca (or Canadian websites in general) have any sort of big sale days (like a version of Cyber Monday or Black Friday?) Is it worth waiting for Boxing Day to hope for some deals?

I'm not in a big hurry for these, as my backlog is pretty big, but I also don't really remember to check a lot.

Boxing Day is pretty much it, and even then, I don't ever recall discounts on a whole lot of stuff. Amazon.ca pretty much sucks for the most part.

That's sort of what I thought.

Thanks for the reply.

I can't answer the initial question, as I don't know about what sales are offered, but I disagree that Canadian Amazon sucks. For Canadians, it's miles better than the American Amazon, which truly sucks (for Canadians) because of its sky-high shipping and nonexistent customer service.
Amazon.ca almost always has the best prices on new books, often has very competitive prices on DVDs, and the shipping's free on orders over $39. I use it a few times a year. However, I imagine it's not a very attractive option for Americans, just as theirs isn't to Canadians.
