staples rebate question

I bought a few things at staples recently that had mail in rebates. now it says "limit 2 rebates per name/address/household" but I bought 4.

now before i go on, i am not trying to scam anything. in fact i only had 2 and the guy at the register is the one that convinced me to get a few more despite this notice ("get a couple more if you want, itll work anyways...worked for me before"). however i dont want to void my 2 "good" rebates.

also they arent much (like $5 each) and if 2 dont work, im ok since I was going to buy them anyways.

however, what i want to do is use my wife for two and send them to our house then do the other two at my parents house. would that work? is it immoral? will it void all 4 since I paid for all them for with my credit card?

anyone have experience with staples rebates?

No experience with rebates from Staples, but personally, I wouldn't have a problem sending 'em in.

Sure I probably would. I've done that before in a similar situation. I doubt very strongly they'd connect the two despite using the same credit card.
