Question about using Amazon credit to pre-order.
 

If I use some of my Amazon credit to pre-order something, does it automatically use the credit? Or does it work like pre-ordering with a credit/debit card and they don't charge until it ships? Just curious. Thanks.

When you say credit, your mean like a promotional credit or gift certificate? It automatically gets deducted/used when you order.

It will come off immediately, but if you cancel the pre-order, it will be returned to your account.

I have a question...I used 10 bucks in credit to preorder Two Worlds 2 many many months ago...I am sure that 10 dollar credit would have expired by now...well Two Worlds 2 has been pushed till next year, and I plan on just canceling the preorder and importing the game....will I still have that 10 dollars back in my account? I have never canceled an order that was placed so long ago with credit on it.

Promotional credit (Amazon never issued a serial code, the credit just appeared in your cart at checkout) should disappear. They're generally one-time use and don't "recharge" back to into your account.

Gift certificate credit should just be banked back into your account.

Actually I've pre-ordered something using a $5 promotional credit and then changed my mind and canceled. I was able to use the promo credit on the next order I placed.
