Pre-Ordering from Deep Discount question
 

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'm putting a big pre-order in for May 25th releases, I usually pre-order at Amazon but a lot of the titles are actually cheaper at Deep Discount, this being the first time i'm going to place a pre-order with them I had a few questions.

*Do you usually get the releases on release day?
*Do they actually wait to charge your card until items are shipped?

Not sure about delivery times, but they won't charge your card until the item ships (at least on backorders, pre-order should be the same).

They don't charge your credit card until shipping. I've never received anything on release date from them on a pre-order. In fact most of the time, it's almost a week after release date.

The charge without shipping thing is hit or miss... I just ordered from them and the item was backordered and I was charged immediately. The charge hasn't come off either.

that could possibly mean that your item has already been sent. you might even get a shipping notice after you receive lol.

but as far as dd shipping goes, i thought pretty much everyone nowadays knew to expect the slowest imaginable shipping possible -wink-

I ordered "No Time For Sergeants" back on 4/23, and it hasn't shipped yet (even though it was released yesterday). Even more frustrating is that when I emailed them today asking when it will be shipped, they said they "did not have a shipping date" for it. LAME.

I ordered the "Rock N Roll High School" blu ray weeks ago from DDD and I knew it came out this week but never got a shipping notice. I canceled it on Sunday and ordered from Amazon. Watched it last night. It ended up being cheaper too.
