Quick Redbox question - please help
 

So we just got a redbox at a local grocery store where I live and I'm really happy about it a couple of things I'm not clear on though...

1. When you rent your first movie is there an ongoing charge even if you don't rent any further movies for a while?

2. Do you only get penalized an extra dollar for every day your late in returning with the option of just keeping it after 25 days?

1. No, you pay per rental. No other fees involved.

2. It's $1 per day. After 5 days, you'll be charged $5. After 25 days, you'll be charged $25 and you'll own the disc.
