being very anal about my collecting, Hollywood Video's annoying re-packing-for-rental cases prevent me from buying any of their used dvds.

buy regular dvd cases, acquire cover art if needed, insert disc. fixed.

The price at the local Hollywood Video (East Harwich, MA) has dropped to 3 for $15 on the catalog titles.

I picked up:

The Horse's Mouth - Criterion Collection
In the Mood for Love (2-disc) - Criterion Collection
The Battle of Algiers (3-disc) - Criterion Collection

for $15 plus tax total. The Horse's Mouth even included the booklet.

A couple of weeks ago when catalog titles were still $9.98 apiece I picked up the 5-disc edition of Fanny and Alexander - Criterion Collection.

There are probably eight or ten Criterions still on the shelf at this location, in case anyone else lives in the area.
